APRNs are helping to provide solutions for health care and workforce issues that exist in Ohio.  Outcome evaluation and research findings conclude there is extensive evidence that APRNs provide high quality health care at a lower cost.  The safety and quality of APRN practice has been demonstrated through more than 40 years of research and hundreds of studies involving patients.  These studies validate the proven track record of APRNs in providing care across populations.
